About Myself
I am a Calgary-based tattoo artist with a formal foundation in fine arts, having graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts in 2018. My path to tattooing was a natural one, shaped by a lifelong relationship with drawing and a deep immersion in the subcultures that have always intersected with tattoo culture: comics, punk music, heavy music artwork, and skateboarding.
As an avid collector myself and someone who has travelled widely, I have developed a genuine appreciation for tattoo traditions across cultures and regions, an exposure that continues to inform the range and depth of my work.
Tattoos
I specialize in American traditional tattooing, and also work in Japanese, tribal, and black and grey styles. I am drawn to the rich history of traditional tattooing, its visual power, its symbolic language, and the distinct characters who have shaped its legacy. That respect for the craft shows up in every piece I make. My focus is always on strong, bold line work, thoughtful composition, bright colour, and stark contrast: the fundamentals that make a tattoo hold up and stand out, not just today, but for life.
